We had a great time at our Grand opening here are some photos from the night.

The Grand Opening for DFW Elite Toy Museum turned out to be a great success. Several visitors came to see our great collection of rare toy cars and other collectibles. The event lasted from 6pm-9pm with guests coming in and out all night. Complimentary valet service was also available at the grand opening and some of our show cars were available for pictures outside as well as in the showroom. Since DFW Elite Toy Museum is a dog-friendly hotel all visitors were encouraged to bring their furry friends.  Visitors were able to see our Tipp & co models as well as some rare conti models that are in our collection and as you can see plenty of pictures were taken of this special event.

$10 Donations were accepted at the door and went to www.spoiledcavaliers.com and several visitors made generous donations to our cause. Even the visitors who weren’t car fans came to appreciate some of the antique toy cars and rolls royce toy models that were in our museum. There were also drinks and hors de oevres available and as well as some casual seating.

The Malcolm Forbes Collection is always a popular exhibit with our visitors. Large scale model ships that were Forbes collection are on display in our ship gallery room where visitors can learn some history on some of these vast and intricately detailed boat models. The gallery’s largest ship, the Rangitiki, is well over 10 ft. long and is truly a sight you don’t want to miss.

Plenty of pictures were also taken at the museums event and there was also a fun photo booth where people could take pictures and have copies made for free. Visitors could also learn more information on some of the cars and other antiques in the museum by reading books and signs on the backgrounds of some of the pieces in our collection.

Admission to the museum is free for guests and is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm during the week and even on some Saturdays. If you have any questions on some of the antique toys, rare motorcycles or future events at DFW Elite Toy Museum then feel free to contact us.
