* Speedhunters this week posted a great collection of photos of Holman-Moody-modified V-8 Ford Falcons used in European rallies in the mid-1960s.

* No, that’s not yet another pic of a tornado-ravaged town in the Midwest. Instead, it comes from The Detroit Bureau’s report on the demolishing of the DeSoto plant on Wyoming Avenue between McGraw Avenue and Ford Road in Detroit. As The Detroit Bureau wrote, it was the only automobile plant built in the United States during the Great Depression.
