Along the automotive road to success, Ron has been featured in INC. Magazine twice and, most recently, he was profiled in Millionaire Blueprints. A small business consultant, Sturgeon has founded and built several large automotive businesses, including a chain of auto recycling centers that he sold to Ford Motor Company in 1999 and an auto auction that he sold to the largest public company in the segment. In 2003, with three investors, he repurchased the auto recycling business of Ford Motor Company. At the time Ron and his investors closed the deal, Ford’s business had grown to over 25 locations in 15 states. In September 2005, he and his investors resold this business to a public company, Schnitzer Industries. During his career, Mr. Sturgeon collected a significant number of exotic and classic cars that now serve as the foundation for DFW Elite Car Club.com. He also amassed a large collection of automotive toys, a number of which are on display at our Fort Worth offices. He is well known in the automotive, banking, and real estate circles in North Texas. Sturgeon is a renowned small business consultant and speaker, and he has served as a keynote speaker for many business associations.
