Ever since their Touring Program began back in 2004, members of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America have been recognized for their participation in the club’s sanctioned tours. Each time a member takes part in a VCCA-authorized tour, the mileage that they accrued on their Chevrolet is recorded, and a record is kept of the mileage amassed to date. As the vehicle accrues additional touring miles, it receives mileage tabs at the 1,000, 2,000, 5,000-Veteran and 10,000-Master levels. So successful has this program been that the club recently issued their 1,000th Touring Passport. Best of all, even new Chevrolets are encouraged to participate in the Touring Program, regardless what model it may be. The primary focus of the Touring Program is to compel members to drive their Chevrolets, just for the fun of it.
