The Goodguys Nostalgia Nationals for hot rods and pre-1972 muscle cars is a really big deal. So big, in fact, that it’s too much for a single grand marshal. So Snap-on Tools, a major Goodguys backer, is naming two of them, the flying brothers of fuel Funny Cars, Cruz and Tony Pedregon.

The Pedregon brothers are not only major drag stars, but also at the front rank of Latinos in motorsports and have unbendable links to the sport’s early days. Their father, Frank, was a major star in the hot classes of Southern California drag racing, beginning in the 1950s. His sons will have the Pedregon family’s Flamin’ Frank altered Fiat coupe on hand at the Nostalgia Nationals, set for October 15-17 at historic Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
