Bill McCarthy’s 1975 Norton 850 Commando was the award winner in the Norton motorcycle class at our Sports and Exotics Car Show this past Saturday. He faced some stiff competition in this class with Scott Hill’s 1974 Commando finishing a close second. More than 175 classic and exotic sports cars and motorcycles participated, making this year’s show the biggest since Hemmings began holding this event five years ago. This is our third year at the Saratoga Auto Museum and many spectators, who were in town for the Saratoga flat track season, toured the grounds with a Daily Racing Form tucked under their arms and their morning coffee in hand.
