What would you do with two Pontiac Chieftains, both in project-car condition? The obvious answer is to strip the useable parts from one to aid in restoring the other. But which of these two 1958 Pontiac Chieftains deserves the restoration? The two-door, which looks rather rough, even from here, or the four-door, which runs and drives? From the seller’s description:
1958 Pontiac Chieftain, (2) Cars. 1 4-dr hdtp, 1 2-dr sdn. Body off of 2-dr, engine & chassis restoration started (N.Dakota car). Needs frt floor pans, trunk patched. Have most parts. 4-dr is driveable parts car in fair condition. Have tri-power manifold w/carbs, 4 vintage 15 X 8 Amer. Racing wheels. Some new parts. No time to complete project.
