Who says only American cars can be hot rodded? This 1958 BMW Isetta incorporates several conventions of a typical hot rod: flames, loud paint and a bigger engine. Of course, when you’re talking about an Isetta, even a Geo Metro would have a bigger engine. From the seller’s description:
This car has a newer Yamaha 660cc Raptur engine with a 5 speed transmission, replacieing the old 300cc BMW engine. It now has no trouble climbing hills towing the aluminium Tear Drop custom trailer built bt Tri-C Engineering. The paint is by Tom “Itchy” Otis. This car gets all kinds of attention in parades or at rallies.
