SAAC-badged Fox-body Shelby Mustangs come up for sale once in a blue moon, and now we see two of them (a 1992 and a 1993) for sale on Hemmings.com, both from the same seller. As per his description, the black/gold car is a little rarer than the red/white car, so we’re assuming that’s the reason for the price discrepancy. If only he had the one white/blue example, he could sell all three as a set. From the seller’s description:

1992 Shelby, SAAC MKII red/white/blk, only 12 produced, Serial #011, 8215 actual miles,

1993 Shelby, SAAC MKII, one of three black/gold produced, 9450 actual miles, original owner, Serial #001.

These SAAC MKII cars were produced by the Shelby American Automobile Club with the blessing of Carroll Shelby in 1992 & 1993. SAAC MKII will out perform any factory Shelby, including the 428 Cobra Jet (per David Eber). Only 12 MKII’s were produced, 8 red/white, 3 black/gold & 1 white/blue. 302 V8, GT-40 heads. Both listed in the Shelby Registry. Original owner. All documents & cover.
