Some cars simply benefit from a different perspective. Take, for instance, this 1969 Continental Mark III for sale on Hemmings.com. Most times, you only see these cars from the front or rear, making them look staid and ponderous, like Brutalist concrete edifices. The seller of this Mark III wisely chose to lead the ad with a side profile photo of the car, which shows a much more fluid, even muscular, aspect of the car that harks back to the Continental Mark II’s lines. Sure, this car’s gonna need some body and paint work, but perhaps that’s simply an opportunity to reconfigure the front and rear sheetmetal to more conform with the side profile. From the seller’s description:

A driveable project car that turns heads right now, as is.

The right owner can make this car an absolute stunner with the right amount of TLC and know-how.

Personal Note: I’m looking to part ways with this girl to make room for my other girl, a 1971 Dodge that has more sentimental family value. My loss can be your gain.

The car starts and runs. 460 V-8 engine is strong. Glides down the road. New Holley carb installed but also comes with the original factory carb too. Dual exhaust. Front seats have custom sheepskin covers installed. Burgundy leather seats front and rear. Good condition, but the old girl does have cracks. Power windows need work. A/C needs work. Ignition switch should be replaced. Power seats are finicky. Front windshield is cracked. Trunk is in great condition. The body is straight  with a few dings. Comes with original hubcaps and the installed full moon disc hubcaps too. Comes with the entire original set of operator’s/shop manuals. The enamel paint is very good on the sides. The hood has some oxidation or may just need a very good buffing. Has rust spots around the vinyl top trim and trunk trim areas. Has leaks. Radio was removed.
