The collector-car hobby lost another significant supporter when, on May 23, Gerry Durnell lost his courageous battle with cancer.
Gerry was the owner and publisher of Automobile Quarterly, and Pizza Today magazine. He was also a great American – Gerry was a U.S. Army captain, who flew more than 180 reconnaissance missions during the Vietnam war before being hit by a SAM missile.
Memorial gifts can be made to the Heuser Hearing Institute or the American Saddlebred Museum.
